Growing up on a farm with five of us kids and mom and dad you learned to eat what mom fixed or went hungry. Don't even try to change your mind if you said you'd pass on something at the dinner table, as someone else would step in real fast to claim it. So our family was not food snobs.
I have family that live in Chicago. So when I know they are going to come back home for a visit I get my grocery list ready. They will stop at Caputo's Fresh Market for me. And they bring me home about 6 bags of fresh produce. Then I just go wild cooking that week. Thanks sis ;-) !!!
Favorite foods would have to be soups, Mexican Quesadillas, Chinese foods, most common fruits and vegetables. I love garlic. Somethings I know I don't like are okra and brussels sprouts even thought I like cabbage.
I like most teas but nuts about "Constant Comment Tea" Orange/Spice flavored, use to dislike herbal tea until ncmysteryshopper sent me Calm made by "TAZO" it is great. Other beverages enjoyed are lemonades, lemonade/tea combinations, and hot chocolates. Other likes homemade soaps, candles, crystal, candlestick holders. I don't really collect one thing, unless you count all my counted cross stitch patterns that I'll never have time to make even if I live to be 900 years old!!
MUSIC: Christan artist I like are Jars of Clay, Mercy Me, Tim Hughes, Michael W. Smith, Amy Grant, Sonic Flood, Third Day, Kutless, Skillet, Ray Boltz, DC Talk, Newsboys, Sixpence and Veggie Tales are few I can think of right off hand. I love piano music by Lorie Line and The O?Neill Brothers, also like Manheim Steamroller. Michael Crawford, Randy Travis, Kenny G., Andy Williams, The Canadian Brass, Enya, Bread, CCR, America, Guess Who, Jan & Dean, Kansas, Kenny Chesney, Neil Diamond, Neil Young, Bob Seger, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, Tim McGraw, Travis Tritt, Ty Herndon and yes even Christmas music by Bing Crosby! So you see I have a very wide varity of music I like.
