    "Excellent, Authentic Russian Blintzes!
    I did simplify the recipe to make it easier and faster.
    I put the farmer's cheese in a bowl and mashed it with a fork. Then added the rest of the ingredients the same way, no need for the food processor.
    I didn't refrigerate the mixture and didn't dip in flour. I just spooned them into the frying..."

    I substituted white-whole wheat flour equally for the white. i needed to add a little milk to thin out the batter. Did not use nuts.

    "This cake was fantastic! I used a fluted quiche dish. I needed to bake the cake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Note: The batter is thicker than you might expect. It takes a little doing to spread it around."
