    I've been lucky to married to a wonderful guy (this time around!) for the past 13 years. I have 2 grown daughters that I'm very proud of. 3 cats have "allowed" us to live with them.
    I recently retired and am happy to finally spend more time cooking instead of throwing something together as soon as I walk in the door.
    Both my husband and I are passionate soccer fans. He played for 30 years in recreational games and still plays in a pick up game every Sunday.
    We love to travel and have been on cruises to Alaska twice. We were married in Maui, on the beach, with all our friends in attendance and it was a blast!

    Favorite Foods

    I love the fall and winter seasons because the comfort foods are my favorites- stews, meatloaves, pasta dishes, soups. My husband isn't into gourmet food so I don't cook that way. It would only be a waste of time and food!
    I look at the recipes posted very carefully. I don't pick out anything I know we aren't going to like or that I have to change much. I don't feel that is fair to the chef that posted the recipe. A 5 rating from me means the recipe turned out well, tasted great and will be made again.
