"Very tasty and simple recipe. After I ground the almond/garlic mixture, it appeared to me to be just too much... so, I only used half of the almond garlic mixture... and I'm glad I did. I prefer a pesto that is more "green". I also ended up adding more oil to toss it with pasta. As it was, the consistency was very thick and spreadable which has be..."

"WOW! I'm never buying Smokehouse Almonds from the store ever again!!! I used the egg white method and added the woo sauce and a dash of liquid smoke to whites and whipped until frothy. Tossed with the almonds and briefly drained in a colander. I used Lawry's seasoned salt (the BEST! in place of celery and regular salt and baked at 300 for 20minut..."

"Easy and delicious! I used a bottle of Shiner's Bohemian Black Lager beer which gave it an amazingly rich flavor. I used some of the extra strained and seasoned cooking liquid to mash with black beans. Used the chicken and black beans to make tostadas with lots of cheese for my family. My mother hates beer but LOVED this. Now she's gonna have to g..."

"Very good! I used lite soy because that is what I had on hand. I would recommend using dark soy to balance the honey more effectively. I used this on boneless chicken breasts and made extra sauce to saute with mixed vegetables and served over rice. Absolutely delicious!"

"Excellent recipe! I made this as directed but instead of serving this over rice, I added cubed sweet potatoes to the pork mixture which helped thicken the sauce nicely. I omitted the corn (because of the sweet potato and added water chestnuts and green onions. Nicely balanced with heat and sweet. Definitely a new favorite!"

"Fantastic! I used homemade granola with almonds and coconut. I didn't have any yogurt so I substituted with what I had in the fridge... small curd cottage cheese and sour cream (3oz each. I omitted the milk powder and added 1/2 cup each of dried blueberries and dried cranberries. Unbelievably tasty!"

"Easy and flavorful! I tried this recipe to use up the rest of my leftover bag of raw sweet potatoes. I followed the recipe but added 1 finely diced jalapeno pepper to the onions, garlic and ginger. To finish, I added leftover shredded Thanksgiving turkey. A fantastic way to use up your Turkey Day leftovers! The spice with the sweet potato was an e..."

"A former co-worker made this for me for my birthday and gave me the recipe. OUTSTANDING! I have since made this cake for current co-workers and it is now EXPECTED of me when a birthday approaches. Instead of the icing, I use milk chocolate frosting and top the cake with hand-dipped chocolate strawberries to make it really special. It is a HUGE hit!"
