    Reviewed Double Thumbprint Cookies

"I made this recipe for Valentine's Day with my 3-year old and our family loved the cookies!

First and foremost, these cookies do not need to be as labor intensive as written! Just make a little bigger ball and press thumbs in twice to make the heart shape. Make sure you make deep impressions because the cookies puff up a little when bak..."

    Reviewed Spinach Beef Spaghetti Pie

"Even better reheated the second day! I used a bag of fresh spinach rather than frozen. I just chopped it and let it wilt in the pan while the sauce simmered. I love recipes like this that are open to interpretation - you can spice it up or not. We did Italian seasoning rather than cajun."

Reviewed The Best Browned Beef Stew -- --Ever

"Yum! I rarely make soups or stews, but on this cold January night, this was perfect! My husband gobbled it up and we really enjoyed the flavor.

We don't normally have carrots on hand so I subbed corn instead. Served with crescent rolls. Will make again!"

    Reviewed Bourbon Chicken

"This was great! I made a half batch with about a pound of chicken for just my 3-year-old son and myself. We enjoyed it and I made it as written, though I added more apple juice in the beginning instead of water. I ended up adding a bit of water at the end because I thickened it too much with a little cornstarch.

    This is a keeper beca..."

Reviewed No Bake Chocolate Cover Cherry Oatmeal Cookies

"Yum! These are great! We love chocolate covered cherries and my 3 y.o. son loves maraschino cherries! These are a hit with us. Quick and easy to make, I think these will be what I send to preschool for an upcoming birthday."

Reviewed Sweet and Spicy Kielbasa Saute

"This wasn't quite a 5 star recipe for us. Luckily, I did not use the whole packet of taco seasoning (it doesn't need it). The tomato overpowered as well and we couldn't taste the preserves. It was interesting to try something new though! Next time we can tweak the proportions."
