"I used this recipe to make carrot cake muffins which we really enjoyed. Did frost them but hubby said he thought they would be good without. I added pecans in and replaced over half the oil with apple sauce - also added nutmeg as reviews suggested.
Asked to repeat them - soon! Thanks for posting."

"I love this recipe - it is so easy and tasty and since I have started to make it I have gone on to repeat every two weeks or so. "We both really enjoyed this - tender meat and a really tasty sauce. I only had the Spanish smoked paprika so only used 1 tsp. Used tomato puree. Got loads of compliments. I also omittted the bacon. The sauce had a rich but not sickly taste we both liked very much. Will make again. Thanks for posting this recipe.Sheila"

"We both really enjoyed this - my dh is quite a food critic ( never cooks himself though! and he kept saying how tasty it was. I used tinned tomatoes instead of the spaghetti sauce and added garlic - also mixed this all in with the mince. Very filling and rich. Very tasty. Will cook again."
