"Huh. I did exactly as written. If husband had not turned it off at 5.5 hours it would have been a pile of ashes by the 8 hours in the recipe. The gravy was burned to the sides of the pot, it was all incredibly salty and the venison was like jerky. This was not a new crock pot and this was the second roast from the same deer. The first recipe ..."

"A follow-up on my review dated 12/8. I felt bad slamming this recipe so I decided to tweak it. I added 1t of almond extract and 1T of the cherry juice to the dough mix. "I made this almost to the letter. I used shallots instead of onions, I also added 1/2 t. of finely chopped fresh ginger and 1/4 cup of half and half. I pureed it to the point of no chunks. One of the best and easiest butternut soups ever. This is a keeper. Thanks."

"This is really very tasty. I cut the top off tomatoes and scooped out the seeds and insides, I turned them upside down to drain. I made this salad as written and after chilling it, I filled the tomatoes with the salad and put the top of the tomatoes back in place. This was sooooooo good! Thank you!"

"Melt in your mouth chicken with amazing flavor. This is definitely going into my favorites file!!!
I have some fresh rosemary, so I cut one in half and put it on each side of a turkey breast with everything else."

"This is soooo good! Granted, I didn't have all of the ingredients on hand but, I had enough to get the basic taste of the sauce. This is a keeper. I put in on stir fry veggies and diced boneless country-style pork ribs. Wonderful!! Thank you so much!!"

"This is so good!!! I did use eggbeaters instead of eggs. I also used Asiago/Romano/Parmesan cheese on top and added about 1/4 c of bacon (fried and crumbled, but that didn't change what a wonderful recipe this was."
