"I'm a northern girl, who tries so hard to cook southern delights. This one does NOT disappoint. It was a HIT at this year's Thanksgiving feast. I followed the steps to the letter and it came out moist and delicious. Using regular sugar and flour are fine. Use REAL butter and REAL cream cheese. I did add 1 tsp of almond extract when I added the van..."

"I follwed the recipe to the letter and this was an absolute HIT! It was a little spicy for us (I used the equivalent of two peppers. My husband loved it with the mango papaya salsa. Great job Big Daddy!"

"I thought this was a pretty decent compliment to the spicy beef patties and curry chicken. I wouldn't like this so much on it's own. You will need to modify the recipe to taste. I added more red onion and allspice."

"I just made this dish! it was super easy and tasty. Two points - I HATE when recipes say salt and pepper to taste. Don't play games, tell me how much! Anyway, I followed the shrimp part to the letter, with 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp to 1 tsp of course ground black pepper. I used only one pound of shrimp. Now here's the kicker, do the grits fro ..."

"Great soup and soup-er easy! My family is picky and they loved it. I bought a big bag of real bacon bits from costco and dumped in half a bag. I also added asiago and fontina cheese to mix it up. I skipped the water and it was a little thick. Maybe add a cup or so. Also for a lighter version - use I can't believe it's not butter and mix 1 cup ..."
