    "I plan to make this pie, but it seems to me it should be dotted with butter before the top crust goes on just as you do other apple pies, so that is what I plan to do. Looks really good otherwise."

    "I have made these for years and they are my son's favorite. The recipe I have uses crushed vanilla wafers instead of the graham cracker crumbs and I like it better. We call them "Magic Cookie Bars." I find the bars hold together better if you press down lightly as you add the nuts and chocolate chips. Definitely a winner!"

    "How can this be a Vegan...or even vegetarian recipe when it contains Pork and Beans? Heinz used to make canned beans that were the same as Pork and Beans but without the Pork. Have not been able to find them in a very long time. Sounds like a good recipe other than that."
