"Really quick, easy, tasty and healthy: what more could you ask for! DD and I think we'll try it as a thick pasta sauce as well. I used dried red lentils, water & chicken boullion cube, diced tomatoes + yellow pepper, and I added 1 cup of chickpeas/garbanzo beans at the end with the corn and tomato sauce."

"Good, easy crockpot meal that I ate over quinoa. Used diced tomatoes rather than crushed. Next time I will add more spices to give it more zing."

"Made the recipe exactly as instructed, stopping after pureeing the contents of the soup-pot, with the intention of freezing it. It is so yummy that I suspect none of it will get to the freezer! A clever use of oatmeal that really thickens well without the use of dairy. An easy, handy recipe for a cold day."

"We love this recipe and make it at least once a month. I try to use less salt to lower the overall sodium. I also use my immersion blender right in the crockpot to blend the entire batch.According to the Nutrition Facts, each serving is 1/6 of the full recipe: it is a huge, delicious serving and a family favourite."
