    About Me

    I am retired and live on Shuswap Lake in southern BC. I have enjoyed cooking since I was a young lad. My Grandfather was a chef for the Canadian Pacific Railway and my mother was an avid chef as well. She taught me most of what I know and passed on many of the old family recipes from my grandparents and great grandparents. I am married and have one son who appears to becoming a good cook as well. Our grand children are being taught cooking skills from both my wife and I as well as their mother and father. As you can see cooking skills are now being taught to a fourth generation, and hopefully it will be carried on for many generations to come. Imagine my grandfathers legacy has almost reached 100 years from his time. What a wonderful way to instill and promote family values.
