    Reviewed Snickerdoodle Bars

"Very easy to make and taste good. However, they don't resemble the taste of a snickerdoodle. I think the recipe is missing the essential ingredient of cream of tartar....will try adding that next time and see what the results are. Regardless of my feelings, the kids are gobbling these up without complaint! :)"

    Reviewed Bisquick Blueberry Scones

"These are very simple to make and taste yummy! I did add more blueberries just because I love them! The only thing I didn't like was the dry texture to the finished scone. Wonder about more liquid or perhaps a little more butter next time. Overall, extremely tasty though!"

    About Me

I live in SE Minnesota and have three children (ages 15, 6 & 5 - first two are girls, last is a boy). I am a teacher's assistant at our local school and work primarily with the preschool and kindergarten. For fun, I love to cook, crochet, spend time with my kids and read. My favorite cookbook would have to be the one that my grandmother started with her mother the year my grandmother became engaged to my grandfather. There are recipes in it that originated with our family in Norway. My one biggest passion would have to be my kids and family!! My husband would agree, I would bet. My biggest pet peeve has got to be procrastination!! Drives me nuts! Do it and be done with it!

    Favorite Foods

My favorite food of all time is CHICKEN! I am an addict to it. Anything with chicken would rank up there with my favorite food to cook. One of the dishes I am "famous" for would be my barbequed chicken on the grill (of course). Also have heard some good reviews on my chicken lasagna, bacon chicken and white chili. My favorite resteraunt would have to be The Olive Garden (any Italian really). I am also really interested in heritage cooking...stuff from my Norwegian and English heritage (and some Irish).
