    About Me

    I am a wife and a mother of one (daughter); my family is the most important part of my life.  Additionally, I am the mommy to four cats (Hollie Mae, Gizmo Lola, Edward, and Gandalf), one dog (Jasmine Grace), and one Ball Python (Cornelius). My motley crew is very important to me and I wouldn't know what to do without them. I currently work at a local university, Indiana Univeristy-Purdue University Indpls, as the  Assistant Director of the Office of Student Scholarships.  While working at the university I have completed my Bachelor of Science in Biology and currently working on my Bachelor of Science in Psychology, specifically drug development.  My long term goal is to enter Law School for FDA Pattening.  My passion is working in a research lab; however, that is not possible at this time.  As a result I find that cooking has a similar thrill and is an outlet for creativity.  Cooking also allows bonding time for myself and my daughter, we enjoy experimenting with new recipes and adding our own creative flares to our basic recipes.    

    Favorite Foods

    The dishes that are most requested that I bring to gatherings are: cream cheese and beef cheese ball, my verision of hashbrown casserole (very cheesy and creamy), and macaroni and cheese.  Additionally, I have a Southwestern Chicken dish that I found on Recipezaar that my daughter requests it to be made weekly or it is to be made when her friends are over per their request. My favorite dish to cook is chili as I enoy being creative with the recipe.  It's one dish I am constantly alterning and being creative with.
