    About Me

I FINALLY made it to Retirement!!!!!!!!!! Love being able to go to bed when I get sleepy and get up when I wake up, not by an alarm clock (except on Sunday morning so that I won't be late for church. I have soooooooo many cookbooks it's unreal. I don't know that I have a favorite unless it would be the one that I made of my family's recipes from wayyyyyyyyyyyyy back.

    Favorite Foods

I like to make swamp cabbage but can only make it for large gatherings because it makes a BIGGGGG pot. Most people like my chicken and dumplings. The old fashioned kind where you roll them out and cut them. I never could make the drop dumplings to taste worth anything. I like Red Lobster or Dixie CrossRoads for seafood, Olive Garden for soup and salad or spaghetti and meatballs, Seaflame for liver and onions, Smokin' Jims for bar-b-que, Tony Romas for steak and ribs.
