"This was really good!! I cooked it in the crock pot for about 3 1/2 hours on low, stirring it every so often. I think next time I might add an extra cup of milk and a little extra cardamon and cinnamon and have it cooking for longer. We left the raisins out and used vanilla extract instead of the bean and it was still really, really good. Serv..."
"This was so so good! :) I have never made a pie in a skillet so considered this an "experiment"...dh raved; bil said it was better than restaurant quality. I used five smallish granny smiths and one macintosh (I think) apple that I just happened to have on hand. I followed another poster's suggestion of using Recipe #103126 for the pie crust an..."
"This is a good recipe. I used apple sauce for the oil, all wheat flour, left the peel on the apple, cut the sugar and left out the nuts. It was still very moist and good. I used 1C white sugar and 3/4C brown but I think it would be better with even less sugar; I think that next time I'll try 3/4C of each. Yummy bread."
"I thought that this was a bit bland. Admittedly I did not have fresh cilantro, which I'm sure would have improved the dish. Otherwise I think that doubling (at least) the spices listed and adding some cumin would be helpful. Very easy to make though."
"My husband took a bite and said, "I'm not lying; this is the best pork chop I've ever had!" I didn't have white pepper so I used all black. Instead of the cayenne I used a few dashes of chili powder and a few dashes of crushed red pepper. I also put the rub on, then let them sit in the fridge for a couple of hours before eating. Delicious!!! :)"
"These tasted really good! Very easy to make also. It's nice to have good whole wheat recipes around. I also got more than eight (12 maybe?) tortillas out of it."
