    About Me

I am from Houston, Tx, I am presently not working, I am disabled due to back injuries. My favorite cookbook is My Mama's. Even though it is not purse' a "cookbook", The recipes out of the scrapbook are priceless. Passions I have are to be a very good grandmother and mother. Also to learn Paint Shop Pro! It really is giving me a hard time! *laughing* I do enjoy it though.

Pet Peeves-I don't know if this would be considered a pet peeve, it bothers me that families (my kids and step children) do not value traditions of their parents like for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It just doesn't seem that "important" to all set at the "Table" and enjoy the stories and each other.

    Favorite Foods

My favorite food is Cajun Seafood Like Gumbo, crawfish, boudin.

Favorite dish (just one?)I love to make Seafood Gumbo, and love to make Lasagne.

Favorite restaurant would be anywhere there is good Crab, gumbo, crawfish ...Sartins in Sabine Pass TX (don't know if it is still there it has been many years since I have been there). They serve you BBQ Crab on a paper lined table and you eat till you are tired! (don't think you can get full on Crab...too hard to get the tiny morsels that are Sooooo good...
