"Fantastic! I did spice up the beans more because we are immune to normal amounts of chili powder in my family, but was otherwise perfect as written! I was initially put off because of all the ingredients listed (stupid, I know, but it took about 5 minutes to put it all together. Next time I make this I will decrease the cornbread by about half,..."

"Excellent! Even my husband who hates soup (calls soup 'too wet' and it 'has too many ingredients mixed together' loved it. If this recipe can make my husband go back for seconds, then it is definitely a winner! Super easy and super cheap to make! We served it in bread bowls with a little bit of provolone cheese melted on top, and it was resta..."

"These were really good, but no matter how long I seemed to cook them they never really browned on top (the cheese just got a littly runny. No matter - they were wonderful! I added a lot more jalepeno and garlic, and they were still great. Thanks for the GREAT recipe!"

I found that the butter yielded a thicker chocolate consistency that was a little bit harder to work with than the water. But wonderful - thank you for posting!"

"So good! I was looking to get rid of a can of green beans that I no longer wanted, and stumbled upon this recipe. Like the other posters, I used balsamic vinegar. I used vegetable broth instead of beef bullion and added some mushrooms to this. I didn't add any water, but it cooked down great. Thanks for the great recipe!"

"Very good! DH and I have made this several times! The first time we made it, it fell apart and was a little bit runny. I credit this to not fully draining the eggplant. After this I put the cooked and chopped eggplant in a couple of paper towels (sounds weird, but no paper towel fibers stuck to the eggplant and squeezed the water out. It had..."
