"Loved these but have a suggestion for them to crisp up easier.

A trick I learned from one of the cooking sites is to put the shredded potatoes into a salad spinner just before mixing them with the other ingredients. You'd be amazed how much liquid your get out of them. They cook quicker and seem to be less oily this way."

"Excellent recipe but a bit more guidance from the poster would may be helpful.

    1. Lightly brown the chopped garlic and let sit with the heat off to infuse the oil.
2 Reheat and add peppers. Saute to soften.
    3. Add tomatoes and cook until juices are released than add lemon juice.
    4. Stir in shrimp, salt and pepper to taste. Ad..."

"Super easy recipe that turns out well as instructed.

I make my own bread crumbs. Just save left over bread in a paper bag till there is enough to make it worth my while to start up the food processor. Thoroughly chop with the blade and store in an air tight container. For this recipe I just tossed in a teaspoon of Italian seasoning and w..."

"OK I ran out of breading about 2/3 the way through but that was because I sliced thinner than 1/2 inch as called for in the recipe. No fault, no foul there. The balance of the slices with some olive oil poured on were taken out to the gas grill and flamed on medium high for several minutes on each side until they were just barely limp but had thei..."

"This is WONDERFUL with or without the balsamic vinegar.Great for small or large dinner parties. I added some grilled asparagus to the tray surrounding a beautiful fillet beef roast and a nice mix of the roasted vegetables. I used mini carrots and they were gone, gone, gone before anything else. This was for a dinner party of 7 and there wasn't a..."

"Worthy of the butter in my opinion. Good looking, nice size, rich but not hurt your teeth sweet. Weird measurements to get to EXACTLY 45 cookies but I appreciated the counting. It really does help. I can't see anything that might make these cookies any better, other than some pecan pieces. We Texans will eat cowpiles if they have pecans in them...."

"Doubled the recipe. Used bagged grated parmesan since I didn't want to use my $9 a pound stuff. Costco helped a lot since they carry a decently priced pine nut (fron China naturally). Upped the garlic a bit. Can't wait for tonites dinner. I've got a hickory smoked rotisserie chicken sitting the fridge waiting to be sliced, heated a bit to top th..."
