"I too have tried this recipe and really enjoyed it. As with the other review I made it in my slow cooker, but did not notice any funny smell and I did use only ginger beer (no water. The aroma was very inticing and the flavour of the silverside was incredible. We didn't end up with much left over as everyone had seconds. Usually my family do ..."
