    About Me

I live in a little town by the Ohio River in Indiana. Retired but have just changed jobs, I feel, with 8 grandchildren one or the other is always in or out & I love that part. I enjoy cooking for fun and playing on the computer. I love my church family and something is always cooking there (literally)! LOL! My favorite cookbook is one the kids made in the 2nd or 3rd grade. It is tattered but still readable. My pet peeve, probably if any, is when my husband tries to get in the kitchen and help when I am working on a new recipe. Our kitchen is small and we end up tripping over each other-he is an excellent cook.

    Favorite Foods

I love to see how cheaply I can make recipes. Saving money on groceries is a big deal when your retired and thanks to you wonderful cooks I am surprised at how easy it is to fix those special meals I love, & with mostly effort. So you'll see me hanging around the basics and adding to as I wish. We are great fans of onions and garlic. I find that my kids and friends like my home cooking.
