"I've also spent a few years in Japan, and this hit the spot when it comes to wanting some good Japanese curry. I almost doubled the recipe and it made 4 big servings for curry rice-lovers. I didn't double the curry powder or onion. I also substituted tomato paste, and I used only 1/2 a fresh fuji apple. Came out medium hot. Delicious!!"
