"i used half & half rather than whole milk and it's really quite tasty. if you eat it right away, it pretty much tastes like chocolate soft-serve. not sure how it will be after it freezes/hardens. definitely easy enough to make though!"

"excellent summer dinner! the dressing is fairly forgiving: i used fresh basil & savory in place of the thyme and it came out delicious. (oh, also used cider vinegar as i was out of red wine vinegar."

"great flavor, very easy to prepare. i agree with other reviewers who mentioned just sort of using this as a guideline ... when i made it i used eye-ball amounts of peanut butter, milk, 2 garlic cloves, thai style red pepper sauce & a teeny bit of soy sauce. i let it simmer for a few minutes and at the end, added it over top of the fried tofu, alo..."

"i'm consistently pleased with the ease and efficacy of this recipe. the hardest part is grating the bar of fels naptha soap! i actually use equal parts laundry soap & borax and the result is a very nice gel that i keep in a 5 gallon covered container."
