    About Me

I LOVE living in Iowa! The people here are down to earth, super friendly and really know how to help one another when needed! I am a mother of four great kids. My husband owns a business and rental property that I am the bookkeeper for and I also work part-time as a bookkeeper at a salvage yard. I love to bake and always have something home-baked on the counter (it's a wonder we aren't all over-weight!). I also enjoy crafts, sewing, decorating, and buying and selling on ebay. I didn't learn any of this from my mother growing up (she wasn't the type but she was and is a terrific mother!), but I watched and learned from my Grandma's and Aunt's and am still learning from my wonderful Mother-In-Law.

    Favorite Foods

We love good 'ole American and Italian food in this house! My favorite dish to make is called "Sicilian Skillet" and it's a recipe I came up with myself after enjoying it at Applebee's for the short time it was on the menu. It's a family favorite and the one dish I can get ALL of my kids to devour!
