    I have two grown kids. Interested in science. I used to be an engineer.
    I like to cook with ginger, either fresh or ground. Love the "Cat's With Hands" comic strip.

    Favorite Foods

    Rhubarb whole wheat pancakes.
    Cheesecake (can't have it very often!)
    Mushroom-Onion-Tomato Omelet with garlic, tabasco, OLD white Cheddar. Using OLD gets flavour with smaller amount, reducing fat.
    I'm on a reduced fat & salt diet, so I often roast meat with lots of onions, mushrooms & sometimes celery chunks to keep things nice & moist. I season with herbs, garlic ginger etc. I also use lots of black pepper. (I hate nutmeg.)
