Reviewed Szechuan Noodles With Spicy Beef Sauce

"Wow. This was delicious. I did sub the 2 Tbl oyster, 2 Tbl Hoisin and 3 Tbl Soy as some suggested (I had the oyster sauce, so wanted to use it). My husband and I really loved this. I used 1 1/2 tsp of the red peppers--it was perfect for us, but we like spicy!! Great recipe, thanks for sharing!"

Reviewed Lentil and Brown Rice Soup

"Excellent. Everyone in my family loved it. Reviewed Delicious Acorn Squash Soup

"This was SO good. A neighbor gave me 5 acorn squash. I used them all and I think I had 6 cups of squash. I doubled everything except for the dill weed (wasn't sure I was going to like that), bouillon (thought I would have enough salt), I doubled the celery, and I used lowfat yogurt. Fantastic. Also I calculated the calories on spark people's r..."

    Reviewed Cranberry Scones

"Great recipe, too bad I didn't read it through before I started, because I didn't realize that they are drop and I threw the dough out onto the counter...a little messy. Anyway, I dropped them onto a heated Pampered chef stone, they only took 15 minutes to bake to a lovely golden brown. Sprinkled them with a little raw sugar...very light and tast..."

    About Me

I love to cook, read, garden, hiking and camping.

    Favorite Foods

My favorite dish to cook is homemade pizza.  I make it on a pizza stone--it is very good that way.  Last summer I experimented with pizza on the grill.  Very good, too!  My family really appreciates home made pizza.
