Reviewed Szechuan Noodles With Spicy Beef Sauce
"Wow. This was delicious. I did sub the 2 Tbl oyster, 2 Tbl Hoisin and 3 Tbl Soy as some suggested (I had the oyster sauce, so wanted to use it). My husband and I really loved this. I used 1 1/2 tsp of the red peppers--it was perfect for us, but we like spicy!! Great recipe, thanks for sharing!"

Reviewed Lentil and Brown Rice Soup
"Excellent. Everyone in my family loved it. I was glad to get to use brown rice--I'm trying to use more of it in my family's diet. 1/2012 I had thrown half of it in the freezer--just got it out last night and it tastes great! Also I calculated the calories on spark people's r..."

Reviewed Cranberry Scones
"Great recipe, too bad I didn't read it through before I started, because I didn't realize that they are drop and I threw the dough out onto the counter...a little messy. Anyway, I dropped them onto a heated Pampered chef stone, they only took 15 minutes to bake to a lovely golden brown. Sprinkled them with a little raw sugar...very light and tast..."

I love to cook, read, garden, hiking and camping.
My favorite dish to cook is homemade pizza. I make it on a pizza stone--it is very good that way. Last summer I experimented with pizza on the grill. Very good, too! My family really appreciates home made pizza.
