Reviewed Black Bean and Roasted Red Pepper Dip
    Handle
     |  By Caryn

"We love this dip! I can't find lawry's taco seasoning where I live, so I use Ortega's Chipotle taco seasoning, and I love the smokiness the chipotle gives. I use low or no fat cream cheese. With all the other flavors the cream cheese brings together, I don't think we miss much from not using the full fat version. Deliciously addicting!"

"My spouse eats in ph 3 of South Beach as a way of life, so I use whole wheat pasta. I couldn't find whole wheat shells, so I turned this into lasagna. I used a soft mexican cheese instead of the mexican blend, ground turkey instead of beef, and I added ground red pepper and ground chipotle for some heat and smokiness. He loved it!"

    Reviewed Gluten Free Danish
    Handle
     |  By GlutenFreeGirl

"Pretty good for a gluten free pastry! The texture is very close to "regular" danish. The only thing I might try different next time is to use either grated lemon zest or lemon extrat in the batter for a lemon/raspberry danish - as they are they taste a bit yeasty, and adding lemon flavor may help with that. I made them exactly as listed above, exc..."

"very good! definitely has cheesecake flavor from the cream cheese. last time, i doubled the recipe, and instead of using 2 8 oz packs of cream cheese, i used 1 pack of cream cheese and 8 oz plain greek lowfat yogurt. i also used about 2 cups of strawberries cut up, one cup blended in the base and 1 cup added at the end of churning. i think next ti..."

"These are good, but I was looking for more texture in the center. A local restaurant has a version of buckeyes that are almost like peanut butter shortbread inside. My family enjoyed this recipe, but I will keep searching to replicate our favorite local treat."

"Great flavor! I made it exactly as directed, but there was just too much liquid. I will make it again, but I will cut the OJ in half. It went great with Sriracha wings."

"Delicious! I recommend using 2 lbs of beef as there was too much liquid for 1 lb. I used a jalapeno and a long hot chili pepper (about 1/4 c total chopped pepper and ended up with just the right amount of heat. The beer gives a good flavor, we love this recipe!"

"As someone who eats gluten free, I can say whole heartedly that this is one of the best muffin recipes I have found, and the flours are pretty easy to find at health food stores. I used 1/4 c of sorghum and 1/4 cup white rice instead of 1/2 cup white rice flour to add a bit more nutrition. I added chocolate chips to the last batch and I can't keep..."

    Reviewed Macaroni and 4 Cheeses
     |  By Chef #752989

"The idea of replacing the roux squash does make this recipe healthier; however, what you end up with tastes nothing like mac and cheese. I wish I could say I loved it, but why use all that cheese if it's not going to taste like the real thing? (which it doesn't, I just dumped the whole casserole dish in the garbage because I didn't care for the st ..."
