"Ive made this bread several times and LOVE the flavor, but I can never get the top center to fully cook. I was hoping someone would have a remedy for that when I got on here today. I had some bananas that were soon to be over ripe and figured I'd give this recipe another go. Well, again, great flavor but the mushiness in the very center just ba..."

"I thought I'd try it because it was similar to what we normally do with London Broil... We use McCormick's Montreal Steak seasonings rubbed on first tho and it seems to be more flavorful. I also, use A-1, italian dressing, and either beer or red wine. My 3 yr old who rarely eats meat, will eat it this way. and it ALWAYS has to be grilled in my..."

"I have to admit, I didnt care much for this version. After reading all the great reviews, I thought I'd try it but the vinegar was too overwhelming for me. I followed the recipe as posted except used regular beer. Didnt think it'd make much of a difference."

"This tasted delicious but it came out dryer than I thought. not likethe picture at all. I followed the recipe exactly as written except poured a little bit of the sauce half way through. The top which was the bottom while baking is dry and not gooey like I was hoping.... Very easy recipe tho and will make again maybe making more of the butter/..."

"This turned out excellent! I used a half c. of apple sauce for half the butter as well (like another poster and its very moist... that was the only change I made. 4 bananas were just enough for my taste and the choc. chips taste great with the banana. I used one loaf pan, one 8 x 8 dish and a small metal mixing bowl. I will make this often ..."

"This has become one of my husband's and my favorite meals. I make it so much I can do it from memory! I use hot Italian sausage and skip the pepper flakes, which makes it just the right hotness for us. I also use a can of the basil and garlic diced tomatoes undrained and the whole 1 c. container of cream. I think it gives you a little more sauc..."

"I followed the vinegar recipe exactly except used 1/2 tsp salt. It was very hard to roll out for me with the crust sticking to the rolling pin (even with a floured surface and breaking a lot....I figured I'd wait until I baked my pies before rating. I have to admit Im disappointed. The crust just isnt what I was looking for. Mealy and not app..."

"This is really really good and I will be making it for Thxgiving dinner next week. I made a trial run yesterday but only using half of the mixure and baking it in an 8 x 8 dish. I was worried the 50 minutes would be too long but it came out just fine! I will use less sugar next time as it was pretty sweet....but some people like that!"

"This was very easy to make and delicious! DH likes it so much he eats it on crackers, bread, or whatever we have here! I had to halve the recipe because I bought on basil plant at the store and it only ended up being 1 c of leaves pressed down.... I will have to make sure I buy more nex time!"
