New Topic CANNING BOOK WITH LOW SUGAR AND FIG JAM RECIPE? in Canning, Preserving and Dehydrating

"Hello there, I am searching for a great, colourful cookbook that has lots of low sugar recipes for jam making. I also love fig and ginger jam (had in once on a farm in Australia) and I would love if the book contained such a recipe. Can anyone help me? Thank you in anticipation."

New Topic Substituting Dried Figs for Fresh in Fig and Ginger Jam in Canning, Preserving and Dehydrating

"I am a Jam Newbie and want to try and replicate a fabulous Fig and Ginger Jam I had in Australia in January. Most recipes say that I need fresh figs and I wonder if it's okay to used the dried that are available by bulk. I live in Edmonton, Canada and although we have wonderful selections of fruit here I have never seen a fig. Please advise!"
