    About Me

    I teach English and am learning how to be a Mom. I write at night after our little one goes to bed and hope to publish someday. I cook both because it serves as catharsis from a busy day and because I like looking for healthy things to eat that still taste good. I am fortunate that I have a husband who is a much less picky eater than I am, so whatever I make, he eats and says thank you. =)

    Favorite Foods

    I have a lot of chicken recipes. Beyond that, I stick to American dishes primarily, as even with recipes, Asian dishes, in particular, never seem to turn out right when I make them. 

    Current favorite recipe is Parmesan Crusted Chicken with a Sage Butter Sauce, a recipe from Cousine at Home. 

    I have only been to these places once, as they are pricey for us and reserved for special occasions, but I loved Roy's Grill and Indigo in San Francisco.
