    About Me

    I live in Santa Barbara, CA since I was a child but my family moved from Virginia when I was six. I am 5 minutes from the ocean and 15 minutes from our mountains. I grew up on my Mom's Southern cooking so I learned to cook southern too. I took cooking classes in school so I feel at home in the kitchen. My pet peeves are people who abuse any animal and treat our planet like a garbage can.

    Favorite Foods

    Southern Cooking, Mexican food, Chinese, Japanese and Italian. My favorite restaurants in Santa Barbara are The Wine Cask, Paradise, Opal, Clementine's Steak House, Shalhoob's and Super Rica. In the Los Angeles
    area The Cheese Cake Factory-never had a bad meal there. The corn tamale cakes are yummy.
    I don't eat red meat,any wild game,veal,or rabbit. At times I don't eat any meat of any kind I. I am picky about what is in my food and cook with fresh organic foods as much as I can. Don't eat fast food. However, I do indulge in French fries!!
