"I too used premade phyllo mini shells (bought out the store's supply...these are FABOO...made them for "break the fast" on Yom Kippur and will make them tomorrow for my wife's Synegence party. We do leave out the bacon, being Kosher keepers, and I use a combination of Smoked and regular Gruye cheese...excellent flavour. Good Stuff Maynard!!!"

"FABOO...we make this quite often, and realized that we haven't given you the praise you desire...(our bad...so sad...the only thing we do differently is "kick up the garlic" (so what else is gnu?...we put in about 3 or 4 cloves. "I was a little disappointed with this recipe. First, I was expecting something "Hawaiian" tasting, i.e. Pineapple, sweet and sour, etc. The finished product had more of a "beefy" taste rather than a pineapple or aforementioned taste. Also, the ingredient list does not include tomato, however the instructions state to add tomato and pineapple and..."
