Reviewed Simple Lemon Chicken
"Well, I must confess that I have made this twice in less then one week. The first time I followed the recipe as written but found that adding the liquid to the pan before placing it in the oven and covering it caused the flour coating on the chicken to get gummy. Normally that would cause me to only give the recipe 4 stars, however; Tisme, the flav..."

Reviewed Lemon and Parsley Potatoes
"These potatoes are delicious! I;m trying hard to fix budget friendly HEALTHY dishes that are not lacking in flavor, and this fit the bill. They had such a light and refreshing taste... Dinner for the night consisted of chicken topped with fresh pineapple salsa, your very tasty potatoes, and a large salad. Since it was just my cousin and I eati..."

Reviewed Paprika Mushrooms With Greek-Style Yoghurt
"Had a carton of mushrooms in the fridge that had to be used up, so this recipe came into play at the perfect time. The only issue I had with the recipe was the sauce was to thin. Even though I simmered the mushrooms a bit longer then called for in hopes of concentrating the sauce... Next time I will cut back a little on the liquids and see if that ..."

Reviewed Garlic Mashed Potatoes
"I actually made this recipe a couple of weeks ago using some very bland leftover mashed potatoes from our early Easter dinner. It took the ho-hum potatoes to a whole other level! My cousin and I both agreed that they are definitely company worthy, and this will be the recipe we both use the next time mashed potatoes are served for a holiday...or an..."

Reviewed Mediterranean Chicken With Pepperoncini and Kalamatas
"This was wonderful! I had a jar of sliced pepperocini peppers that I purchased for subs. I drained them, and added enough to cover the bottom of my crock pot. Then I added the sliced kalamata olives garlic and lemon zest as directed. I chose to omit the salt since the olives and peppers were quite salty. I went to add chicken breasts as that is wha..."

Reviewed Spice-Up-The Party Ham Spread
"I made a single serving of this for lunch today as I am the only one in the family who likes ham salad. I really enjoyed the added spice in this recipe.... I did not have Dijon mustard, so I used my stone ground mustard with horseradish for the mustard, I also upped the pepper sauce to give it a bit more of a bite. Since I do not care for sweet pic..."

Reviewed Chicken Breasts With Lemon and Fresh Rosemary (Crock Pot)
"Made this for dinner tonight using boneless, skinless chicken breasts. I went out to cut some rosemary, but unfortunately the entire bush was dead, so I had to use dry rosemary instead. The only thing I will do differently next time is to cut back on the paprika. We all felt that it overpowered the lemon and rosemary in this dish. Thanks for postin..."

I am blessed to be a stay at home mom to four fantastic, crazy children. I work from son up till son down...thank goodness I only have one boy!
My favorite cookbook is not one that I cook from very often, it actually sits on top of my pantry propped up in an old basket. The cookbook was given to my grandmother just prior to her marriage to my grandfather and it has the family prayer and some recipes that my great-grandmother penned in her own hand inside. It is called All About Home Baking.

I do not really have a favorite dish to cook as I enjoy making many different dishes (It's the clean-up I would rather not do). I tend to prefer many ethnic dishes over American "classics". And my children hate the fact that hot dogs and boxed mac n' cheese are known as nuclear waste. During the summer anything that fits on the grill is fair game as I try to do as much cooking outdoors as possible.
I enjoy different restaurants, but the one set aside for special occasions is Carrabbas Italian Grill. If you love Italian that's the place to go. Otherwise I will choose a Mexican restaurant if given a choice.
