Reviewed Chicken Breasts With Lemon and Fresh Rosemary (Crock Pot)

"Made this for dinner tonight using boneless, skinless chicken breasts. I went out to cut some rosemary, but unfortunately the entire bush was dead, so I had to use dry rosemary instead. The only thing I will do differently next time is to cut back on the paprika. We all felt that it overpowered the lemon and rosemary in this dish. Thanks for postin..."

Reviewed Yummy Baked Taters or Wedges

"**Jubes**, these potatoes are wonderful... however; I must admit I must admit that I had to make a substitution. I asked DH to pick up a bag of potatoes while at the store but he didn't purchase a single thing on the shopping list except for cheese. So, I had to use sweet potatoes in place of russets. I kept the spices the same though... we all lov..."

    Reviewed Whole Grain Mustard Aioli

"I am not a fan of plain mayo on sandwiches or burgers....but thought this recipe sounded intriguing. I am so glad I chose it! I used a good grain mustard that contained horseradish, so it probably had a bit more zip to it, but it still blended so well with the mayo, lemon juice and garlic. I used this mixture on a rye bread with ham for lunch today..."

    Reviewed Creamy Blue Cheese Dressing

"I scaled this down in half and made it to go with some raw veggies that I planned on having along side my potato soup at lunch. Went to the fridge and found 3 lonely mini sweet peppers and nothing else. So I actually used it to top my potato soup instead. The only thing I did differently was to blend it with a fork,,,mashing the large crumbles of ..."

    About Me

I am blessed to be a stay at home mom to four fantastic, crazy children. I work from son up till son down...thank goodness I only have one boy!

My favorite cookbook is not one that I cook from very often, it actually sits on top of my pantry propped up in an old basket. The cookbook was given to my grandmother just prior to her marriage to my grandfather and it has the family prayer and some recipes that my great-grandmother penned in her own hand inside. It is called All About Home Baking.

    Favorite Foods

I was adopted Spring PAC 2011Spring PAC 2011I do not really have a favorite dish to cook as I enjoy making many different dishes (It's the clean-up I would rather not do). I tend to prefer many ethnic dishes over American "classics". And my children hate the fact that hot dogs and boxed mac n' cheese are known as nuclear waste. During the summer anything that fits on the grill is fair game as I try to do as much cooking outdoors as possible.

I enjoy different restaurants, but the one set aside for special occasions is Carrabbas Italian Grill. If you love Italian that's the place to go. Otherwise I will choose a Mexican restaurant if given a choice.
