    About Me

The Nana who does cookie and candy parties!! I most likely have the nastiest kitchen in the whole world. I live on a ranch, have 70 mother cows, 500 sheep, 2 house dogs, 1 yard dog, 4 guard dogs, a barn full of cats, 4 grandchildren. I use to own a bakery! That was fun if quite a bit of hard work. I am a fiber artist: crochet, knit, spin, weave, embroidery, etc.
Pet peeve: anyone not from or having live in NM even pretending to understand CHILE or CHILI

    Favorite Foods

In the past my best things were the breads, cookies, candy, pastries; in short anything I cannot even look at now that I am insulin dep. I still do full southern new mexican dinners. Seems as tho all the chile turns the otherwise high carb of most border foods into neutrals! The best restaurant in MHO is TiaMaria of the CattleBaron chain in southeastern New Mexico. Second best is Peppers Bar and Grill in Roswell, NM
