    About Me

We live about 40 miles south of San Francisco and 10 miles north of San Jose; in the Heart of Silicon Valley. My husband is retired from Hewlett-Packard/Agilent Technologies after 35 1/2 yrs. I haven't worked outside the home for many years due to health problems. - My favorite cookbook is one I designed and printed myself in 1996 (sorry guys). I sold it at a holiday boutique and to friends and relatives. I raised $500.00 and donated all of it to Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Auxiliary at Stanford. - Love the TVFN and the fact it's always reinventing itself.  It keeps their shows fresh and fun.  I was lost the couple of days it was off the air for a couple of days during AT&T talks and happy when the network was back on the air in such a short time.  Please continue on and keep evaluating old shows, improving present shows if needed and creating new shows to keep us wanting to see more. - Get rid of the snotty remarks on Chopped behind or in front of the scenes between the chefs.  Not necessary.  Just script writing to keep us interested?  NO.  It's offensive.  These are grownups.  If I had youngsters I would not let them see the show.  Being competative is natural, but not the rest.

    Favorite Foods

My favorite dish is "Jackaroos" (pork chops) at Outback restaurant. They are sooooooooooo good. I hardly know anything else on their menu I order them so often. My most famous dish is a simple comfort recipe, "Chicken and Noodles". If I'm out of ideas and ask one of my family members for an idea, it usually becomes Chicken and Noodles. My favorite restaurant is "Shadowbrook" in Capitola, on the Pacific shore. Fresh, fresh, fresh seafood and great atmosphere.
