    Favorite Foods

Although I grew up African-American culturally, I am racially Mixed Race Asian-Filipino.

Also, I am multicultural American and West Indian. All of this multi-mix comes from Momma who was from the U.S. Virgin Islands. She came to the U.S. for college, met my father and acculterated in America.

When Momma was homesick she would always cook her favorite island dishers! She learned to cook Soul Food and Southern Cuisine Dishes for my biracial Negro father. She always prepared Weight Watcher meals for me as I always count calories. She also enjoyed very much cooking Asian Dishes for us! Well she tried to teach me to cook; I did learn a few things from her!

She loved to cook and save recipes. In the celebration of her spirit. Enjoy her favorite recipes and my personal additions also!
