I am a trained chef, but my career has taken a back seat to my family and my sanity. I do work part time as a pastry chef/prep cook/expo at a small restaurant. It's really nice to work part time and do something I love.
I have a three yar old son(as of 2011) and have been married for 6 years. DH is in nursing school right now and once he graduates we plan on leaving the southern US for the northeast. Keeping my fingers crossed.
I can't say I have a favorite food, but I love to cook anything. I try out all kinds of things at work and some at home and play with the recipes until they're just the way I like them. I am allergic to shellfish, but I have a natural knack for cooking it. People can not believe I will serve something I can't taste, but I havn't had many dissapointed diners :)
