"Excellent! I substituted 2 15 oz. cans of red beans for the dried beans. The whole cook time was less than an hour. Also, used chorizo instead of andouille. A satisfying, wonderful dish. Grabbed the Treebeard's Jalapeno cornbread recipe from their site to go with it."

"We made these wings a couple times in the past few weeks after seeing the recipe in the February 2010 'Men's Health' magazine. They are excellent! More excellent still because they are relatively low calory/low sodium. I fold the ribs over and do the marinade in gallon zip-lock bags rather than a baking dish."

"We made these for Super Bowl as well. Some of the best wings we've ever had. We amped up the heat by adding some cayenne pepper to the sauce. Better than many restaurants probably due to the fresh cooking oil!"
