"This recipe is fantastic. I don't eat MSG so I substituted a little Miso (fermented soy paste, think Miso soup. The purpose of MSG is to enhance the flavor, it provides Umami taste or savoriness. Per Wikipedia, Umami also referred to as savoriness, is one of the basic tastes sensed by specialized receptor cells present on the human and animal ..."

"I love this rice! The cinnamon adds a really interesting flavor and a natural sweetness. I didn't add any sugar and my daughter still thought it was a bit too sweet. I used black beans, just because I love them with rice and it was absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be cooking this regularly! Thanks for the fantastic post."

"Thanks for the recipe, it's a nice change from the regular distilled vinegar version. The only change I made was adding a little salt to the dressing, it tasted kind of bitter without it...other than that this was great, I'll definitely make it again."
