Originally born and raised in New York, and formerly the executive chef of the Courthouse Restaurant and Lounge, I moved to the State of Tennessee to be closer to our Children and Grandchildren. Although retired from working as a chef I still have a passion for cooking and love creating new recipes to share with family and friends.
My favorite Food is Italian. My favorite dish to prepare is still my signature Marinated London Broil with Portobello mushrooms and Red New Potatoes Gratin that is the dish I am most famous for. The Recipe for My London Broil remains a secret to this day and is not even written down. As with most Chef?s and passionate cooks eyeballing is the most often used form of measurements, so many measurements given on my recipes are approximated. Baking however is an science and exact measurements are crucial. Hopefully before being promoted to glory I will write out the recipe for my signature dishes and pass down to my daughters in law who both loves the dish and to cook.
My favorite Restaurant in my Hometown of in New York is Tony Boffa?s Restaurant and here in Tennessee it is Giuseppe?s, for Italian, and China One for Chinese.
