    About Me

    Hi,
I grew up in St. Johns, MI and at 18 married and moved to Washington state. I am a caregiver for a woman (Karen) who has multiple sclerosis. We have a lot of fun together and she told me about recipezaar as she gets many of her recipes from this site.
I don't have a favorite cookbook, I can find something tasty in any of the books that I have, it just depends on what I'm hungerying for at the time.
I do a little gardening, have a good husband and a rottweiller...both can give plenty of attitude. Children are grown and gone and have 11 grandchildren...last three a "adopted" from the kids blended marriages.

    Favorite Foods

Favorite foods would be big dinner salads or Pastas. In the winter I go heartier (and pay for it weight wise). I like goulashes, stews, lentils, etc. I don't eat pork or most sea foods. Sometimess I go vegetarian/vegan for a few months just to clean the pipes.
