    About Me

I was diagnosed with Celiac Sprue about 4 years ago and since then i have been on a search for YUMMY Gluten free recipes. Yummy being the operative word of course. I could never find any easy prep meals that were gluten free and by easy prep i mean microwave dinners, hamburger helper, even the boxed potato side items have gluten in them ( that was really disappointing). So I have come up with a few of my own recipes that are gluten free. Granted some of my recipes are common ones that i have taken and done variations on to make them gluten free but, they are still yummy and thats what matters to me. If you have any good gluten free recipes that you would like to share with me I'd appreciate it.

    Favorite Foods

I love mushrooms, in just about anything. Also I'm a huge fan of baked goods, desserts, chocolate (who isn't), blackberries, strawberries, blueberries (okay so i like my berries), chicken, beef, i love a good beef stroganoff, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, cheese (not the blue ones), tiramisu, smoothies, pork chops, homemade shortcake (which i could use a recipe for hint hint), I could sit here and make this list go on forever and a day. To sum it up i like all kinds of food (with a few exceptions) it's like Andrew Zimmern always says if it looks good eat it. (although that man has eaten things i would never ever dare to try)
