    About Me

I live in a small midwest town and have taught school since the Hector was a pup. I love to cook when I have time, go RVing when I can get the chance, love to read and spend time on the computer. I've used cookbooks of all kinds and always rely on the standard Betty Crocker or Better Homes and Garden when I'm in doubt. I don't always follow the book when cooking and make up some interesting dishes. Now that I'm cooking for a diabetic hubby I'm looking for recipes that have no sugar, is low in fat and taste like they have it all. Help!!!!!

    Favorite Foods

I don't have any special dish that I cook. Usually I have to think of what I can adapt that works for us. Some favorite restaurants are Mc Cormick and Schmicks on the Plaza in KC, Olive Garden, and Barbosa in St. Joseph, Mo
