"I forgot to put in the mixed veggies, darn! I did add in 4 oz diced chilies. I used brown rice and it needed about one hour cooking time. It tasted great and was a perfect, healthy complement to our tamale meal.
Thanks!"

"I'm rating a very similar cake I had at a party... I'll probably add the modified recipe later. For now, here's my digital backup. I use 1 tsp salt and only 4 cups of shredded apples and 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Great cake and delicious sauce! My cooking instructions are for 35-40 minutes. Thanks!"

"I don't like runny yolks... but my kids love them and LOVED this for breakfast. I enjoy making sure they get something with staying power before school. My husband thought it was good, but nothing special to him.
I also like recipes like this for a quick dinner in a pinch.
Thanks!"

"Great recipe... better than others I have tried for still tasting good after being in the fridge for a day or more. I give it four stars... which for me means great recipe... but I'm still searching for something I like even better, that wows me like some restaurants. : Thanks a bunch."

"Pretty good... very nice consistency. Nice flavor with just the right amount of spice. Everyone loved it, I give it 4 stars... I just think for me, there's a better recipe out there.. or I'll make a little modification to this... the cooking in the oven was not a hassle as all as some people have indicated (as long as you have oven proof pans!...."

"I took it to book club and everyone loved it and some people asked for the recipe. It's sort of a festive Christmas time treat. The first time I made it, I mixed whipped cream with marshmallow creme instead of marshmallows... I believe that was a better result than marshmallows. For me, it's a 4 star dessert even though it got rave review from ..."

"This worked well in a pinch... but I thought it was a little too chocolatey... I increased my whole recipe so the chocolate flavor wouldn't be overwhelming. Still, it was a better solution for me than making a special trip to the store. Next time I would use about 2/3 the amount called for. Thanks for the recipe!"

"This is a great dessert that needs a couple of modifications to make it the best.
I'll say right off the bat that the cooking time or temperature is too high. I cooked ours 15 minutes then checked it and the shortcake was already overdone... dark/slightly burned on the bottom and just a little too dark on the top. But I sliced off the v..."

"I find that bumping the heat up to 400 has a better result. I cut the butter to 1/3 cup the second time I made it, and we didn't notice a quality difference... so better light! Today I tried 1/4 cup butter, which was also really good. Also, I use brown sugar for sprinkling... approximately 1/3 cup.
Really good recipe that I'll make a..."
