"I reviewed another kettle corn recipe which I gave only 4 stars (I'll still make the other one sometimes because it uses a lot less sugar. The extra sugar in this recipe really gives it a great flavor. Yum. I'm glad it just makes enough for my family or I would probably end up eating all that was left over!
I only used 2 T oil to ma..."

"First try... kids loved it. Our corn kernels were a little old and I was afraid they wouldn't pop, so we put in extra and it made a ton. I think I would have liked it better with less popcorn (higher ratio of salt and sugar to popcorn... my bad!
Thanks... we have had the Whirley pop for years and now I have finally used it!"

"Well 4 plus stars anyway. Great recipe... it was a tad spicy for my kids. Next time I'll use 1/2 tsp of crushed red pepper. I threw in about 3 cups of frozen stir-fry veggies and a little cornstarch to help thicken the sauce. I will work this into my rotation since it's easy and a great complete meal served with rice (I mix brown and white ric..."

"This is an EXCELLENT recipe (it's almost the same as the recipe for Spinach, Chicken, and Pasta Salad from Favorites cookbook by Ivory family... a fabulous cookbook that raises money for Make-a-Wish Foundation.
The only difference is that the other recipe calls for 1/2 tsp salt. It works out great to marinate pasta overnight.

"I just made the tartar sauce and it was really good... maybe not the ideal tartar sauce for kids. This is a recipe I'll definitely make again. thanks!"

"I'm going to try to doctor this up... but I'm sorry to say that it is not good. I'll add some suggestions later if I can figure out how to save it."

"This was certainly a decadent breakfast that everyone loved. I will definitely make it again (but not often because of the high fat/calorie content.
I agree that the butter on the bottom should have some brown sugar sprinkled in. I took another reviewer's suggestion to put the pecans in the bottom (for some reason none of my kids liked..."

"Great recipe. I used 8 small potatoes (mine looked like they had twice as much seasoning as the other photos on here. Next time I will either decrease the seasonings or increase the amount of potatoes. Anyway, they tasted great (the kids thought they were too spicy. I'll definitely make it again and tweak it a little. Thanks!"

"Terrific "base" recipe... I tweaked it since I read a few reviews and knew what I could add to make it just right for my family.
So... a couple people said it should be a little more soupy... I added one can Roasted Chicken Broth to make it a little more soupy (next time, I'll thicken it just a little with cornstarch... but the flavor was..."

"We all loved this biscuit mix... I made 2 cups mix, 2/3 cup buttermilk. Perfect biscuits. I will definitely never buy Bisquick again (I'm pretty thrifty, and I didn't buy it very much anyway.
I mixed mine in the food processor. I did just 1/2 batch in case we didn't love it. I'll definitely do a full recipe next time... my hubby says..."
