"My mom raved about it... good, solid frosting recipe. Kids loved it. For me, it's 4 stars... but I'll go with what my mom and kids were saying.

I don't like the taste of shortening found in some frostings... so I used 2/3 butter and 1/3 shortening. This made for a great flavor, but not the very nice white color that would be perfect. ..."

"This was great. I decided to try it because it calls for 1/2 the butter of all the similar recipes. It worked great and doesn't taste "low fat" at all (but that's a reduction of 800 calories for the recipe!.

Thanks for a great recipe... this makes inexpensive "candy bars" (two squares together for my kids lunches."

"What a wonderful, DELICIOUS recipe, and a terrific way to use fresh garden veggies.

I cheated and used Costco meatballs for the meatball portion of the recipe.

I used two medium zucchini and a medium squash. I also used a pound plus of mixed fresh tomatoes in place of the italian tomatoes. There was such an abundance of vegg..."

"Well, a five star recipe with a little tweaking!

I used a lot more salt and pepper than the recipe calls for... I just kept adding until it tasted right (maybe just short of double. I also added in a couple of cloves of minced garlic, yellow squash, and threw in a combination of fresh and dried herbs... 2 T fresh and 1/2 tsp dry (basil,..."

"Very good, simple recipe. Remember to grease the crockpot (I forgot and it really sticks to the sides. Makes a complete meal with a veggie side dish. I made http://www.food.com/recipe/zucchini-carrot-saute-92776 .

I think I would like to double everything except the chicken next time since we are light meat eaters."

"Very good dish... tender chicken and vegetables with a unique sauce. It's definitely not like Pad Thai... nevertheless we liked it and will make it again. I have made a lot of Thai food and it doesn't resemble anything Thai that I have eaten or made. I would guess it's really a fusion recipe rather than a true regional cuisine.
