    My Journal

I have no recent activity to share.

    About Me

I am an xray technologist in Charlotte. I enjoy cooking for my husband and myself. I find it is a way for me be creative and have a great finished product that we can both enjoy. It also helps me relax and take my mind off the rest of the day. I also have recently gotten into scrapbooking and am only a few pages from completing my first full book. I can't wait. I can't stand people who refuse to try new things, esp. when it comes to food. Hypocrites and close-minded folks rank up there too. But all in all I am tolerant of almost everyone and everything.

    Favorite Foods

I love to make soups and chilis because they are so easy. No real measuring required. Baking is a different story. I usually just make something from a box if I have to bake it. People love my cheese balls and my spinach dip. My husband loves anything I cook. Mostly i cook Rachel Ray recipes because they are quick and simple.

We used to eat out a lot, but I cook more now. our favorite restaurant is a little place called the Stag-n-Doe. Its been around for about 50 years and has always been family owned and operated. They have great steaks and pasta. I love the grilled chicken with the sweet and sour bar-b-que sauce.
