"I had bought torta bread at Costco after sampling it in their store. When I began searching what kind of bread this was I found this recipe and we are all so glad about this discovery. I served it with a salad and dessert as a simple dinner for friends before going to see a play. It was delicious and everyone raved about it! I am warning that a..."

"This was really good! We have lots of basil and I was looking for something that would be light for a summer supper. I didn't have any italian dressing so I used Bev's Italian Dressing #43522. I must have been heavy on the basil as my dressing was green not like the picture I used the Barilla PLUS penne which is a 14 1/2 oz. box so I used the whol..."

"These were wonderful! I only had 12 oz of shrimp so tried to cut everything in thirds. My hubby cooked them on the grill on skewers and they were done in no time. We didn't need any kind of sauce although I would like to try them in a skillet some time so that we could have that delicious sauce."

"This is just like my Grandmother's recipe! I remember her making this when the local strawberries were ripe. Her recipe did say to crush 1 cup of strawberries and I always used my potato masher to really get them crushed. I have also used this filling over angel food cake and it is delicious."

"We all loved it!! I am going to have to buy more basil plants to feed my habit: I did use walnuts just because the pine nuts were so expensive at the store and added a pinch of sea salt. I spread it on french bread, layered roma tomatoes, and mozzarella and popped it under the broiler as suggested by deb k. Thanks for a great and easy recipe."

"This is my 2nd year of growing herbs so I am still looking for special ways to use them. I loved this recipe as it helped me to use my basil and was not any trouble. I really did not measure so I probably did not use the full cup of mayo and used all of the basil that I had picked so I had more of it. I did not use any salt. I put it on a slic..."

"I am trying to use more whole wheat like others so I was anxious to try these. I did use self rising flour, a little less milk, and the 2 tsp. of sugar like one reviewer suggested. I also knew that my DH would be thinking about traditional biscuits so when they came out of the oven, I sliced 2 for him, put on a small amount of butter, drizzled ..."
