"This is a KEEPER!!! Cut the recipe in half, and used Smart Balance w/ EggBeaters to lower the fat and cholesterol. Also only used about 1 cup of sugars. Batter seemed thin, but it baked up nice and light. Perfect base for seasonal berries topped w/ lemon cream. YUMMY!! Thanks for sharing."

"Great recipe! My changes. Used Splenda for sugars to lower calories, added a little more molasses, 4 cans of beans total (Black, Kidney, 2 Great Northern), 1/2c ground carrots (my son loves baked beans, but not veggies), and 1 can of ro-tel (for the same reason), and a splash of liquid smoke. Thanks for sharing."

"As usual, I added a twist. A handful of dried cranberries, 1/2C or so of chopped walnuts, 2 or 3 chopped green onions, 1/2C reduced fat sour cream and 1/2C FF plain yogurt (substitute for mayo), and some organic peas. My daughter w/ a heart condition (low fat diet restricted) ate half of it...PS she hates cranberries."
