"Amazing! I used a Pillsbury refrigerated crust for the bottom and followed the filling recipe except I omitted lemon juice and raisins; to the topping mixture I added 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans and 1/4 cup rolled oats. We ate it warm with whipped cream and it was divine. Thanks, Kat's Mom!"

"Thank you so much for posting this! This is one of my family's very favorite chicken marinade recipes. Typically I add more spices, depending on what I have on hand -- curry powder, coriander, ginger -- and I've experimented with using different vinegars, too. I have the original magazine that it came from, and I also have it written on a recip..."

"LOVED these wonderful little nibbles! I also followed other reviewers' recommendations of mixing the dressing mix into the cream cheese...one envelope to one 8oz brick was a little too much. Very salty. Next time I'll start with half an envelope, maybe three-quarters. But otherwise these were perfect. Topped them with chopped dill and chives to dr..."

"This might seriously be the only way I roast a chicken ever again. It was super. The pan drippings made awesome gravy and the broth that was left on the plate after carving was sooooo lemony and savory and scrumptious. I quartered my stuffin' lemon and added half an onion to the cavity, too...otherwise I followed to the letter. Another exception..."

"Awesome! Hubby is currently standing over the sink scooping it out of the pan on Wheat Thins. : Next time I will cut back the onions to one and add an extra pepper (just personal preference, but otherwise it was great just the way it's written. Thanks for a great way to use up one of those zukezillas!"

"These are super! I used cinnamon mixed with turbinado sugar on top for a little crunch/glisten. Next time I will divide dough in half before cutting as these spread kind of big -- it could easily make 16 tea-sized scones instead. Thanks for a great recipe!"

"AWESOME! My hubby and kids made pigs of themselves on these (after I told them it was "fried cheese with basil and a little zucchini". : I made a few alterations, of course -- I had no seasoning salt so I dumped in a couple of other things from the spice cabinet. I also cut way back on the onion because my family doesn't like it, and I added..."

"I made these to take to a Christmas get-together and they were a big hit! I did make extra oatmeal mixture as other reviewers suggested (I simply added an additional 1/4 c of flour and oat; didn't increase anything else and I used an 11x7 pan so they were a little thicker, although the yield dropped to 20. They were a bit too sweet for me but e..."

"I made these to take to our family Thanksgiving dinner -- they came out wonderfully! I followed the recipe exactly and they're perfect -- chewy and delicious. Next time I'll add some cinnamon to the wheat/oats mixture. I love mincemeat but can't be bothered with pie; these bars are a super-easy way to satisfy my holiday mincemeat craving. Thank..."

"I made this for my MIL for her birthday -- I knew it was a favorite but I'd never tried it or made one before. She let me taste the finished pie and it was outstanding. I really like the way it separates into cake-and-custard-and-crust layers. I will definitely make it again."
